Later, a couple in Brooklyn N.Y., Rose and Morris Michtom tried to make a huge teddy bear and showcased the same on the window to honor the same in the name of the President. Rose cut out some pieces of fabric and sewed on some button eyes, and branded the piece with the name “Teddy Bear”.
However, it became an overnight success and soon their business sailed through. Now, instead of selling the candies in their shop, they started selling teddies and eventually had set up the ideal Toy company.
