Kids like their charming giant teddy bear and plush toys and will frequently bring them to parties and other gatherings, regardless of what you say! However, one of the most entertaining activities is to incorporate the stuffed animals in the party games. We at Bears 4 U enjoy watching children (and adults) enjoy the teddy bears and plush animals they adopt from us.
Here are some fantastic activities to play with stuffed animals in small or large groups.
Locate The Giant Teddy Bear
Choose one stuffed animal or 12 foot teddy Bear that stands out from the rest. A spotted dog, a pink elephant, anything simple to remember and utilize in a hide and seek game. Hide it and many other stuffed toys throughout the home, and the winner is the one who discovers the item you choose at the start. They can collect the others as they go, but the award is just for that one toy.
Toys in Musical Chairs
If the notion of the kids playing musical chairs gives you a headache, why not replace it with plush animals? To stay in the game, each child will keep their favorite animal until the music stops, at which point they must set it on a chair. Anyone who does not have a chair is out of the round.
Animal Evacuation
This one is ideal for somewhat older children who still enjoy their plush animals. Place the toy wherever it has to be “rescued,” such as on a tree limb or down the sofa. Then divide the children into groups, and assign each group to find and save’ a certain toy or sequence of toys. The first person to finish their challenge and return wins.
Relay for Animals
A popular outdoor party activity is to gather a pile of plush toys and have the kids go to them, grab one, and sprint back with it between their knees. The toy must then be passed to the next member in the team who runs their segment, and so on until everyone has completed the race. The first team to complete the task without dropping the bear wins.
Guess Who’s Using Stuffed Animals?
Put together a bag with a variety of plush animals and toys. Put on a blindfold and ask the youngster to choose one from the bag. They have one minute to feel the item and identify it. If they guess correctly, they get a little gift.
Choose your favorite
If your children have brought their own toys to the party, you may put them all into a mound and have them dig through them blindfolded to select their favorite. Just make sure no two children have the same teddy before you begin!
Fashion Show for Toys
For smaller groups of children, gather some teddy bears that can be dressed up and have the children dress them up for a fashion display. You may award awards for the funniest, prettiest, stupidest, and so on, so that everyone receives something.
